{"id":1805,"date":"2026-01-07T19:56:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T19:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tonypanariello.com\/blog\/wordpress\/?p=1805"},"modified":"2026-01-07T19:56:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T19:56:21","slug":"day-2-notes-on-if","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tonypanariello.com\/blog\/wordpress\/index.php\/2026\/01\/07\/day-2-notes-on-if\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 2 &#8211; Notes on IF"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ok, so I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to post every day, that just seems aggressive and I doubt anyone is even reading these (I\u2019m basically using this site as a journal to refer to) but posting when some goal is met or I have some insights I\u2019d like to capture seems appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>No real hunger pangs (I attribute that to a high protein\/fiber meal for dinner). First full day of IF and I\u2019m surprised at how much energy I have \u2013 I\u2019m feeling focused and energetic and am accomplishing a lot. I don\u2019t have the usual litany of aches and pains I usually have (it\u2019s still early though!) \u2013 but still fighting off a persistent cold which is putting a damper on an otherwise productive day.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also interesting that small choices like bringing in a healthy lunch lead into better choices like cooking a healthy dinner. For the last few months, I\u2019d get home and be so spent I\u2019d just order a pizza or some other takeout but the small act of not going out to lunch and eating my healthy meal built upon itself and I had the energy to cook a delicious sweet potato and chickpea stew that was filling and decidedly more healthy than my usual fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ok, so I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to post every day, that just seems aggressive and I doubt anyone is even reading these (I\u2019m basically using this site as a journal to refer to) but posting when some goal is met or I have some insights I\u2019d like to capture seems appropriate.
